Check if;

  1. Tally is open or not.
  2. If more instances of tally are open make sure only one Tally is open.


Follow the steps given below for Tally Prime :

Step 1: Press F1 for Configuration. 

Step 2: Select Settings.

Step 3: Select Connectivity > Enter. 

Step 4: Select the Tally Prime Act as Both.

Step 5 : Enable ODBC as Yes and set Port number as 9000



Follow the steps given below for Tally Erp:

Step 1: Press F12 for Configuration. 

Step 2: Select Advance Configuration

Step 3: Select the Tally Acting as Both.

Step 4 : Enable ODBC as Yes and set Port number as 9000



Note* Kindly allow Suvit desktop application from your Firewall.
